     Charles Fairfield was christened on 21 August 1803 at Ernestown Township, L&A County, Upper Canada, Canada.2,3 He was the son of William Fairfield Jr and Elizabeth Billings.1 Charles Fairfield was born between January 1805 and January 1806 at Upper Canada, Canada.4 He is mentioned in The Raft of the Skedaddlers by E. Russell Smith, a historical fiction of a trip by Elkanah Stowell and his uncle Braddish Billings to take a raft from the Rideau Front to Quebec.5 He lived in 1838 at Bath, Addington County, Upper Canada, Canada.6 He married an unknown person before 14 January 1861.4 He may be the man who was listed with the family of Abram Dewitt in the 1861 Canadian Census for Ernestown Township, L&A County, Ontario, Canada.4 Charles Fairfield was Wesleyan Methodist on 14 January 1861.4
