4th great-grandson of Roger Billings
Paul Dennis May was born between June 1819 and June 1820 at New York, USA.3 He was the son of Theodore May Jr and Nancy Stitt.2 Paul Dennis May married Caroline Eunice Dyer.4 Paul Dennis May was listed as the Head of the Household in the 1850 US Federal Census for Whitestown, Oneida County, New York, USA.5 Paul Dennis May was a bookkeeper on 19 September 1850 at Whitestown, Oneida County, New York, USA.6 He died say 1859.7 Although I have yet to find definitative proof that Paul Dennis May was the son of Theodore May Jr and Nancy Stitt, the source document contains a notice of a petition by George H Ottawa in regards to the will of Caroline E Whitfield. This suggests that Caroline was indeed the first wife of Paul Dennis May and that he was from the same May family. Paul Dennis May would have been the granduncel of George Ottaway's wife, Helen May Sawyer granduncle of Georeg H Ottaway's wife.8
