He was also active in fraternal organizations being a member of the Elks and Masons.15 He was listed as the Head of the Household in the 1910 US Federal Census for 92 Crescent St, Ogdensburg, St Lawrence County, New York, USA.19 Charles Donaldson Pomeroy was a physician on 15 April 1910 at Ogdensburg, St Lawrence County, New York, USA.4 Charles continued to practice his profession until further stokes resulted in him dying at his home, 401 Montgomery Street in Ogdensburg, at 6am on 31 July 1926, at the age of 63. His funeral service was held at his home on 2 August 1926 by the Rev D Charles White, rector of St John’s Episcopal Church, and the following morning he was taken for burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville, where his grave is marked by an inscribed headstone. An obituary for Charles was published in the Watertown Daily Times of 31 July 1926.20,5,15 and was buried on 3 August 1926 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, Fulton County, New York, USA.15,21
