     Research Note: Alphonzo's marriage registration gives his mother's name as Susan but his daughter is listed as Janet McCready Kilborne on her 1914 marriage registration. Alphonzo was born c1855 which also support the idea that his mother was actually Billings' first wife, Janet McCready but that he listed his step-mother, who had raised him much of his life and was still alive, on his marriage registration.^2,20
