Ira was in business with his father Jesse, and their business was extensive in this section, extending as far as the United States Army post in Springfield, Mass., and to Brattleboro, Vt., and his wagons and carriages testified to his workmanship. on 13 October 1818 at Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA.^1,2 He married Eunice Tryon on 13 October 1818.¹ Ira Billings died on 13 March 1869 at age 76.³
